The other day, we were invited to a luncheon celebrating the unveiling of the latest Monkey 47 Gin series: “Experimentum”.
This particular batch was made with Japan in mind, and so to Monkey’s usual mix of botanicals their distillers also added sansho (a Japanese species of Sichuan pepper) and Kobe beef fat. The result is a uniquely spiced gin with an almost syrupy texture.
There are very few bottles in existence but we’re lucky enough to have one in Bar TRAUMA, so if you fancy trying a gin with a difference then come and have a taste!
